PS. In the future have the balls to sign your name on the negative rep, it won't hurt my feelings and I won't start a negative rep campaign against you....unless you deserve it. I sign the rep that I leave, whether it's good or bad. You might just get called out on the public board though, maybe that's why you aren't brave enough to sign what you leave.

PPS. The 4 or 5 rep points that you took away from me didn't hurt my overall rep, and I wouldn't care if it did. I post what I post and am not going to change how I post because somebody gives me bad rep. It seems there are enough people that like what I have to say and enjoy my warped sense of humor or I wouldn't be in the top 10 on the rep list.

Don't let it get to ya - ya know how this rep thing goes..........Course you know me - I'm a signer - good or bad - but I feel like hiway.........I usually don't bad rep anyone and I only did when the afore mentioned puppets started messin with the board in general. I'm sure that enough of us in the "top ten" will take care of ya. Your posts are interesting and you know how we run like a "band of brothers"....LOL

I don't let it get to me. I like to have a little fun with it. Like I said, I could care less what kind of rep I get or don't get. I think what I think, and usually post what I think. People can like it or not, I won't lose sleep over it.

I just thought that I would point out that there are enough people that evidentaly think the way I do most of the time because I am sittin' pretty good in the rep department, and I thank all of you that have given it to me. On a similar note I thank all of the ones that have taken rep away from me. You are entitled to your opinion as well. Having said that, if you do take away rep, have the courage to sign it. It might make for an interesting debate.

I believe this whole rep thing can discourage some new members from posting. Partly because of board dominance and partly because of a desire not to be an 'interruption' to the existing members.

One board I lurk on does a good job of monitoring the newest members' sign up activity and members are good about posting a 'welcome' statement.

Back to the rep thingie....
I'd rather see a 'best post(s) of the thread' recognition or some other type of "atta Boy/Girl" recognition that gives all newbies an equal footing in the race to participate and be recognized.
