Fletcher has been a nurse for about 11yrs. & Calderon just graduated nursing in May '05.

I don't recall any of them when I worked at DC Med Center but that doesn't surprise me - I spent most my time with Dr. Perez so I didn't get into too much of the clique at the Med Ctr. The only Katina I ever heard of didn't work at DC Med Center. I noticed the paper said they no longer worked there but had in the past. Too bad they are nurses....... they shoulda known thier drugs better and if your gonna lose your career it shoulda been for sumthin more potent than what they were gettin....... stupid stupid girls.......

Fletcher used to work at Dodge City Medical Heights Medical Center b4 she moved to DC Med Ctr. Don't know the Dr. she worked w/recently. Calderon worked in Pediatrics. Again, I don't know the Dr. This was her 1st job since graduating.

I agree. It's terrible that both took a chance & lost a lot. I really hope that this is all a misunderstanding & both turn out to be innocent. They have families relying on them.

Yeah - they usually don't arrest on just a "misunderstanding".... but could happen I spose...... Now the other 2 might be misunderstandings since they didn't go get them. That I can see. If you are cuffed and booked - there has been some ground work laid before that happens. The only Katina I knew of worked for Kyi...... I think that was here name but certainly it was not her......... I just can't imagine thins goin down anyway..... I'm just so dumbfounded. I'm thinkin if it was a nurse that maybe she called Rx in and then went to go get it for pt. Pharmacy thought it was wierd that the patient didn't get it and felt it was a bogus RX......... That's the only story line I could come up with. I could see that happenin. I was thinkin they were someone other than nurses cause I was thinkin it was "handwritten' Rx's in question. In DC tho most pharmacies know most of the nurses AND theri voices. I knew I could never even so much as call in an antibiotic for myself - I had my fellow nurse do call ins for me if I needed any. I'm just too scared of any impropriety when it comes to the license..............

Yes, this is the same Katina that worked for Kyi. It just doesn't seem like something she would do. That is why I said I hoped it was all a misunderstanding. In the Globe article, she said that she didn't think she did anything wrong. So that leads me to think maybe it could be, but w/out knowing all the details, I can only guess.

I read that too and thought that if they have been working on this for a year or so it would seem pretty sad if they made a " mistake" in arresting her or charging anybody else. Id think they have all their proof before they go arresting much less putting full names in the paper. I could see one person doing as you suggested, picking it up for the patient, but not all 3. Someone had to know this was not right. I think they are in a lot of trouble. That is sad. Dont they all have families? How embarrasing.
