Instead of going to that site can't I just say that I think Altell are crooks here? If I can't tell how they ripped me off and how poor their service was, just let me know and I won't do it. If I can't say that their tower wouldn't even reach to the top row of bleachers at DCRP, just let me know and I won't say it.

Fred, you can't say "that Alltel TOTALLY SUCKS", nor can you say that their service at the store is "TOTALLY TERRIBLE", nor that their system is a "BIG PIECE OF CRAP"! I think they call it a MONOPOLY in this area, but Sprint just put up a tower at Soule and 14th, so maybe some competition will do some good? I just hope Sprint is better here than in Colorado.

It does a lot of good to get a "minute back for dropped calls" when you get dropped anywhere, everywhere, and even within a few miles of the tower; then cannot reconnect your call and lose out on a business deal!!

I've been using Alltell for 4 years now, never had a problem with them except that if you actually have to go into the store it's a nightmare. Rarely ever have dropped calls.

Now Unicel is a different story, Can't even get a signal with them where I live.

I've never had problems with my Altell service and I travel a lot. I travel from KC to OKC to Amarillo, Tx. Part of your problem may be your phone. If you have one of the $19.99 phones...well you get what you pay for. If you spend a little money on the phone it will do well. When was the last time your phone's software was updated? Altell adds towers all the time and if you don't update your phone you cannot use these towers. Dial *228 on your phone and let it update. Go to the store and have them check the current software on your phone also. I am curious as to what model you have? Try the V710. It rocks!!!

The store gets so busy because people want to stand in line to make a bill payment when they could do it online, mail it or use the drop box.

PS. I don't think that new tower on 14th is for Sprint. I can't remember the company but it wasn't Sprint. Anyone know for sure???

Isn't it for the new United Wireless? They have a sign in an empty store in the mall that says coming soon.
