 Accident on 6th st Did anyone hear all the comotion on the scanner late on Sunday night? Sounded like a very bad accident on 6th street. Thought they said one was DOA and that alcohol was involved. Sounded like it was in the 1000 blk. Detector isn't this near your house? Did you hear about it? I also heard a footchase on Brier. I really like the online scanner.       |

| Hear about it! Heck, it happened in my front yard. About 12:00am we heard a loud crash and looked out side. A car had clipped the pole off in our front yard and was on its top. We went out as a couple of kids were running off from the wreck. One kid did ask us to help get his friend out of the car but it was too late he was gone. My wife took some pictures but they are fuzzy as she was a bit jittery. It was a sad deal. I believe one kid was caught down on 4th and another, possibly the driver, was found on Trail. All looked like children. I got about 3 hours of sleep last night.

| That's too bad....are the kids that got caught going to be charged with vehicular manslaughter? Or are they too young and be put in the juvenile system?

| Curfew? All that does is make somebunny think their kids are safe. Kids are gonna be kids and try anything and everything.....including curfew. I sure feel sorry for the parents of these kids. That young-un that was driving will have to live with this the rest of his life. Honestly, though? I can't imagine being so afraid of being in an accident that you would leave behind a girlfriend to die by herself (prolly was already dead, but still).........that's pretty cold.

| My mistake. There was 5 kids(male) ranging from 14-16 years of age and only the one stuck around asking for help for his friend(14 year old).
