OK, I’m getting one heck of a mental picture on this. Country Club Dr is about Ave B so eastbound the hill you’re referring to would be between Central and Ave A. At 90 mph and airborne sounds like enough momentum to put the car through a house all right. But I’m thinking to be going 90 at Central that girl must have had her foot in it from maybe 5th at least? Sounds like roller coaster ride from 4th to 2nd and maybe grabbing some air at 2nd. Is this sounding about right or am I getting it wrong?

probably depends on the car but she was hauling bauls for a good while im sure.

I just drove by and there are tire track in the dirt/grass at the curb and going a little ways up the yard. The yard is on a slope from the house to the curb with the peak of the slope about 10'-15' from the house. It looked to me like the airborne part was the last few feet from the peak of the yard until the house was hit.

I would tend to say, without seeing it, that you are probably correct Bubba. For her to go airborne from the hill on Comanche, She would have to leave the ground up just East of Heartland. I don't think the car could have sailed that far, no matter how fast sshe was going. Of course, she could have been airborne twice, with a helluva "bounce" in between.

This young girl obviously made some very bad choices last night that will have serious consequences. I heard she was air-lifted to Wichita. Our prayers are with her and her family, as well as the Keller's.

She went airborne at the very beginning of the Keller's front lawn. They have a 6 ft berm at the street and you can see the huge gouge in the berm where the car hit and launched into the house, skipping over the rest of the lawn.

She may have been airborne over Comanche as well but that is not where she was launched into the home from.

The morning after, I saw a flatbed construction truck loaded up with a bunch a furniture, bricks and debris that was evidently destroyed in the accident.

While I am concerned for all involved, I can't feel very sorry for the one that caused the accident by her negligent and irresponsible behavior. A behavior that threatened the lives of innocent people.

Odd that this hasn't hit the papers yet......

Surely we'll get to see the edited and abridged version of the police video... but prolly only on TV.

This might not relate to that; but I'm against high speed chases.

I have to say I agree with you Tee. But not for her actions and irresponsible behavior innocent people would not have had their house damaged and would not have suffered injuries. I am not saying I'm glad if she did get injured but she did cause her own damages.
