Anybody ever find out who the driver was? By the way LG, awesome pictures. What kind of a car was it? Hard to tell form the pictues. Looks like a late model vehicle.

Wow. I can see why the injuries were so extensive. The other thing about this is the damage to the home. As if these people weren't already victims....

The driver no doubt (cuz she was young and insurance rates for younger drivers are higher) carried minimum liability limits required by Kansas Law. That's 25/50/10 (I think), which only gives the claimants (homeowners in this case) $10,000. All that damage is going to be much more than that. Who do you think is going to pay for it? Probably the homeowners' coverage, after their deductible - which they'll have to pay. Then their rates go up, on and on and on.

Throw the driver in jail as soon as she's released from the hospital and let her go through the detox shakes without any meds. Then let her sit in a cell and think about it. If she's old enough to be responsible for a car, then she's old enough to realize the consequences.

It's just too bad.
