Now not ALL New Orleans folks are innocent as evidenced by the increased crime rate but I just wanted to share a story that caused quite abit of commotion. This girl blamed NO men. This is just what i was saying regarding the possibility that not all accusations are true till the investigation is over and the perp is sittin in the cell. Now we gotta deal with Quanell X and his nonsense. Course the good thing bout this is it's a black girl accusing black men. If that had not been the case Quanell would have had this at National level and Jackson, Sharpton and who else knows would have been all over us........

HOUSTON -- A 15-year-old girl who claimed she was kidnapped and raped asked for forgiveness Sunday after she confessed to making up the story, KPRC Local 2 reported.

The teen said she lied about being abducted at gunpoint near Wheeler Street and Dowling Street in southwest Houston earlier this month because she did not want to get in trouble for having sex with a man she met over the Internet.

"I ask for the forgiveness of the police department, the citizens of Houston and those from New Orleans who may have been hurt by my statements," the teen said.

Local activists who put out a reward to find the supposed rapist are angry because the story put the community in fear.

"(The incident) caused a lot of those from New Orleans, Katrina evacuees to be unjustly targeted, looked at and even hunted," Quanell X, Leader of the New Black Panther Nation, said.

Police plan to file charges against the girl for making a false police report. They also plan to charge the man she met over the Internet because the girl is underage.
