Since I see you put that impeachment thing in your sig line, here’s the latest update. The Republicans took a “bring it on” attitude and voted to bring it to the floor for debate. The Democrats cut and ran under the pressure. Maybe it was the UFO sighting business.

With Congress’s approval ratings in the tank, unfinished spending bills three months overdue and Congress wanting to cut their work week to four days, impeachments would be political suicide. Kucinich has been sipping Kool-Aid with the space aliens.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has previously stated that she did not want the impeachment articles to come to a vote. High-ranking Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings, who was himself impeached while a judge in Florida, said he was not happy with Kucinich's attempts to raise the matter on the floor in an attempt to circumvent the normal legislative process.

Kucinich "is on a quest of his own. He sees flying saucers and he acts like one," Hastings said.

Has anyone else noticed that kool-aid seems to be the drink du jour for the right-wingers on Dodgeboard to mention?
