| I read something once that it takes a drug to be on the market and used for up to 5 years before it starts paying a return on the initial investment for the research. THAT's because it's unknown (basically), and usually on the not-allowed list used by health insurance companies. So advertise, they must. But rest assured, they pay millions in Products Insurance in the meantime till it's tested and proven effective.

| The drug companies invent a lot of "conditions and diseases" in order to sell drugs they already have in production. Restless Leg Syndrome is one version. Requip was actually produced as a "Parkinson's" drug. |

| I think Viagra was originally for arthritis but they quickly learned it lessened the sitffness of all joints, save one!  |
