Hillary wins Michigan!

Except it didn’t count.

Quote:
The Michigan Democratic ballot is a sham that was rigged by Hillary Rodham Clinton, her husband and her supporters to give the nation the impression that she’s the leading candidate in Michigan, an angry former Sen. Don Riegle said Monday....

....“What happened in Michigan is not very different from what used to happen in the old Soviet Union,” Riegle said. “The Clinton machine manipulated the ballot. They don’t care how they win, only that they do. It’s wrong and people need to know that.”

Riegle said the Democratic candidates had an understanding, after Michigan defied the party and tried to become the first state to hold a primary, that none of them would compete in Michigan. Obama and Edwards honored the agreement, but Clinton did not and put her name on the ballot, he said...

Riegle: Clinton's actions manipulated the ballot
Comparing the Clintons to the old Soviet Union? Rigged elections? We used to call that the Evil Empire.

She's running a race - not a popularity contest. Would it have been better to have no Dem on the ballot? That way the Rep would be touting they had the election sewed up. Cause no one voted for a Dem.

Honestly it's not about party affiliation for the mainstream. Political party can go to hell this election. It's about basically having no candidates - right or left. This election is just gonna be a crap shoot with plenty of crap to look over. I only am voting this year out of respect to those that serve and to my own service but it sure isn't appealing to consider any of them as leaders. Politics and parties have run amuck already - it's only going to get worse.

Do you actually see a clear front runner? Hell even Romney only had 30 some odd percent with Mcain on his heels.

Because Michigan moved its primary up to early in the year over the objections of the DNC, the DNC said they would not honor the vote or the delegates. That’s why there was an agreement between the candidates to not have their names on the ballot and that’s why the primary didn’t count for the convention. It was just a publicity stunt by the Clinton machine to give her PR points in the media. The uncommitted vote was a protest against Hillary. Hillary didn’t honor her commitment to her own party. If she’s willing to sell out her alleged friends in her own party for personal gain, why would anyone believe she gives a damn about us common folks?

On a side note, because the Democrat election didn’t count and because in Michigan anyone can request either party's ballot regardless of declared party affiliation, Democrats were urged by the far left Daily Kos (funded by George Sorus) to pull a Republican ballot and vote for Romney. The idea is to drag out the Republican primaries and force the candidates to deplete their funds before the general election, thereby helping whoever the Democrat is.

Hillary wins Michigan?

Now I'll be the first to admit I just don't understand the game of politics, but how did Hillary win Michigan? How did McCain and Clinton win New Hampshire? Was there a vote? I guess I'm just missing something here or do they just guess who did the best and call them the winner?

I saw on the news today a real-time meter that shows how America responds to a candidates blubber. OK reality check here people. Either they(who ever feeds this meter) are scanning our brain waves, or this meter crap is nothing more than some persons opinion on how THEY think America would like/dislike a candidates blubber.

For example, if the meter feeder would love to hear Bush called a buffoon and a candidate calls Bush a buffoon, then the approval meter goes off the scale. WTF? Do people really believe this or is it like wrestling, a form of entertainment?

I can understand people have different ideas of entertainment, but for gods sake this is to decide who will lead America. And when it's all said and done and we have some new buffoon in the White house that screws things up, we bitch and moan because some buffoon got elected to run the country.

I'm just not understanding this whole politics thing!
