Democrats Demise?

Being a supporter of Obama - (with that said) I am having or starting to have some reservations about the party he is a part of.

What is all this racial and gender nonsense? I am getting to the point I am embarrased to have "democrat" stamped on my voter card.

I have not seen cat fights like this since I was in jr. High. This democrat process is rather new to me but with the super delegates, the racial overtones, the daily apologies being thrown out, the constant news coverage of the antics and what they all must mean........... it's getting a little overwhelming.

I really like how Obama is staying pretty much under the radar but I am wondering if he's so much a uniter how the hell did he wind up a democrat? They just don't seem to go hand in hand when I watch the news at night.

I wonder how many other cross over republicans and independents are feeling like this.

Speaking of cross overs

I hear the Republicans are returning the favor the Democrats did when they crossed over in the primary and voted for McCain, by doing the same for Hillary.

Doesn't that crap just piss you off?

I just couldn't figure out how McCain could have possibly made it as the Republicans choice. He stands for everything Republicans hate. Then I hear that during the primary's Democrats crossed over and voted for McCain to ensure a victory for Democrats.

What I'm hearing now is - the blacks will just not vote if they have to vote for Hillary. I just hate all this disgraceful manipulation of our political process. I still like Obama and feel at this point he is a viable candidate but they say that the Clinton machine will run him over even if it means riots at the dem convention. McCain - I just don't like - period. I just don't trust him - he doesn't seem trustworthy to me. I respect him but feel he has been in Washington too long to be effective. I think we as a country need some new ideas and new direction. It's gonna be a toss up and I just hate watching this train wreck.

I know how you feel about McCain. I would like a better Republican Candidate. I would rather vote for George again. BUT even McCain as a republican is STILL WAYYYYYYY better than the alternative choices...unless you are down with socialized medicine, tax raises and gun control. Makes me shudder.

McCain may not be the BEST Republican candidate but at least he won't raise our taxes.

In my opinion there isn't another choice than McCain. I guess if you want to talk about choice you can talk about Clinton or Obama.
