Yes indeedy young lady...Uncle Sugar makes more off of a gallon of gas than those big, evil, greedy oil companies do. If the gov't really wanted to help they could drop gas by .20, .30 or even .40 cents a gallon by dropping their taxes but then again that would give up some control of our hard earned money. We wouldn't want that now would we.

To be honest AoO we moan and bitch about it but on the whole it provides free health care at the point of delivery, ie you can visit your doctor or a hospital without having to have your cheque book in your pocket or having to take out a second mortgage.

There is a growing issue with the huge waves of immigration, (both legal & illegal), that is overloading the National Health Service, (NHS), in some places.

These people, without having made any contribution into the pot, can use the NHS, without any questions being asked. Some of the native Brits are none too happy with this, particularly when a Judge last week said that an illegal immigrant who could not be sent back, (he pleaded to stay as he said to go back would endanger his life and therefore breach his Human Rights!), must be allowed free access to the NHS otherwise this would also constitute a breach of his Human Rights.

Basically the European Human Rights Act is causing severe problems in dealing with criminals & illegal immigrants - they all quote it, its like a "get out of jail" card!

Now the failed asylum seeker we can't deport is given free NHS | the Daily Mail

To be honest, I don't respect a lot of the Presidents decisions. I would not and did not vote for him. I feel we as a country are much smarter than our president represents. That being said, I do respect the office of the Presidency. I wouldn't protest him or anything. I respect the office but I don't really respect the man if that makes any sense.

I'm actually pretty scared about how our government is being run. I think that is why I am so excited about this next election because I honestly don't think any of the choices could do worse.

Oh, have you looked in your little crystal ball and foreseen the future this morning? You have no idea. You have an opinion.

I'm not going to give up hope because you think there is none.

Name one country where far left liberal leadership has flourished?

Why try to create extremes? Far left/Liberal to my mind are two entirely different political positions, why not consider left of centre for example, which takes in many European & Scandinavian states, many of which would be classed as left of centre and many of which have flourished.

Liberal is left. Obama is more liberal than Teddy Kennedy. BO is about as far as left as you get in the senate.
