Obamas 845 Billion Global Welfare Tax

Yeah, we have issues at home and he wants a tax that specifically sends 845 billion over seas.

Afty, how much money is W borrowing to waste?

Where's your supporting information for your assertion?

Army, indeed because we've learned that a President CAN act alone with no challenge from the other 2 branches of government.

Obama has stood on stage multiple times and said he would raise taxes...what more do you want...a personal note from him?

Our next president will have to raise taxes to pay for W's war. This war has been very expensive and we can't just keep borrowing from the Chinese, we need to pay eventually. Raising taxes to pay for the war is better than cutting the defense or homeland security budget, wouldn't you agree? I hate taxes as much as the next person, but when you spend money you don't have, you have to pay for it. Just ask all the people who have lost their houses recently.

We can cut spending without cutting the military or homeland security. Actually I think more needs to be spent on both. I think their needs to be more accountability in the spending though. (Less waste) BUT then again gov't is all about waste....(think abou that for all you social health care nuts)

There are A LOT of things that could be cut....lets start with...

Earmark amounts the candidates have received.

Obama- $91,421,220

Clinton- $342,403,455

There's 1/2 a billion dollars RIGHT there from only two people's state earmarks....1/2 a billion dollars. SO all you liberals can understand that...that is a LOT of free healthcare and handouts. That's a LOT of lottery tickets and booze. That would help "rescue" a lot of people that made bad decisions on their homes....1/2 BILLION dollars.

Half a billion dollars is a drop in the bucket of the trillions W's borrow and spend policies have driven us to.

It's time we start being more responsible and paying our own bills instead of borrowing money and hoping our kids can pay it back.

You, and the war monger Bush and McCain, wanted this war now we all have to pay for it.

Apply what you just said to all the fools that took out interest only loans on their houses and expect someone else to pay it back for them....

I don't mind paying for the war if we are safe.....I won't put a price on my family or your family being safe Wordy.

Look up S.2433 for my assertion. 845 billion is 345 billion more than what we have spent on Iraq in 5 years and it will go to the UN.
