| Hitler's power and fascination in speaking lay almost wholly in his ability to sense what a given audience wanted to hear and then to manipulate his theme in such a way that he would arouse the emotions of the crowd. I do believe that Obama has this same ability. This is all in keeping with Hitler's own understanding of mass psychology as given in MEIN KAMPF where he says: "The psyche of the broad masses does not respond to anything weak or half-way. Like a woman, whose spiritual sensitiveness is determined less by abstract reason than by an indefinable emotional longing for fulfilling power and who, for that reason, prefers to submit to the strong rather than the weakling - the mass, too, prefers the ruler to a pleader." As a speaker, Hitler had a powerful influence on the common run of German people. History reports his meetings were always crowded and by the time he got through speaking he had completely numbed the minds of his listeners to the point where they were willing to believe almost anything he said. I find it somewhat disturbing that Obama has the same effect on people. Unlike Hitler, Obama takes it one step further in that he is always dressed to kill. He appreciates the importance of a pleasing appearance in this digital age. Hitler did not.

| I find it troubling that Obama would snub wounded troops because he couldn’t turn the visit into a photo op. Quote:

| I did not start the comparison to Hitler but once started I would never have considered Obama a Churchill or a Kennedy. Churchill was well prepared for his role in history. We all learn from our mistakes and are wiser and more experienced for the lesson. Both Churchill and Kennedy learned from their mistakes and were better prepared for their respective offices. I personally think that Kennedy could have had a few more mistakes in his life prior to his becoming President. Lets face it, in todays world, JFK could never be President. John Kennedy did not think that the rules applied to him and he did whatever he could get away with, including getting into the U.S. Navy without a physical examination, since there was no way he could have passed any standard medical examination. He sensed, correctly, that if he did not participate in WW II, he was not going to have much of a political life. He wanted into the public life and did it the hard way. He worked for it. To have such a man with frail health as his was as your commander could be dangerous; the John Kennedy who got to be commander of a PT-109 never should have been there. However, when PT-109 was run down by a Japanese warship, the lieutenant who never should have been there swam six miles holding the belt, (in his teeth)of a badly burned man thus saving his life. He then went back into the dark ocean to try to save others. He lost his boat, but saved most of his crew. Must of learned a lot from such experiences. That man would get my vote. How does it go? McCain has forgotton more about life's lessons than Obama will ever learn. I found out long ago that there are no shortcuts to any place worth going. That is why I am not voting for Obama, I don't believe there are any shortcuts to experience.
