Not that it would have changed my vote either way but Biden was probably the worst choice out of his supposed finalists. Bayh could have helped him in a conservative Indiana and helped him in Ohio, Chet Edwards would have helped him with the military vote and national defense issues and is a relative unknown(which I think for VP's is a good thing), Sebelius would have helped calm down the angry female Clinton supporters and of course would have helped in Kansas where a democrat hasnt won since Kennedy(IIRC). Biden has a long and historic past of foot in mouth disease and has sought medical expertise all over the world to cure it(thus his Foreign Policy expertise).

Anyways it is an interesting choice, kind of a Bob Dole choice IMO, where I thought he was selected because it was his time and nothing more really.

Sbelius would have been the better choice. She has been prept for VP for a long time now.

Hillary told me she would ask Obama to be her running mate. Should he turn her down, she would then ask Bill.

The actual selection of a VP is really insignificant and will not make or break either candidate. I don't know what all the chat is about.....Who cares either way....

It matters to me, if Obama dies or McCain dies I want a VP who is up to the task.

Send a message via Yahoo to Bubba
Which has a good chance of happening for both candidates, IMHO. By natural means or otherwise.

So if you are going to vote for Obama...and say he picked some idiot for a VP like Gore or Kerry...you would change your vote to McCain?

Or likewise...if you are a strong McCain supporter and he picked...say Lieberman...would you say f it and vote Obama...over a VP pick?
