It's the old saying, "ÿou can fool most of the people most of the time", but I have faith in the American people making the right choice, (they're no fools), despite the personal abuse and low-life campaign the Repugs are running - Barack Obama for President!

Again I say no matter the outcome, Democrats have got to feel pretty bad about themselves. OK OK, nothing would make the Democrats feel bad about themselves, but they should.

This election should have been a walk in the park for Democrats. As bad as Bush has supposedly screwed things up and the Republican Party has scared their name, we still find a very close race. In fact I think I heard this morning that polls showed McCain was ahead by 2.

Now lets think about that. Wouldn't that say that roughly half of America would still rather take a chance on Bush type administration than what the Democrats are offering? Sad... really really sad.

The thing is...BUsh has pissed enough people off for the DEMS to even be able to run a socialist like Obama. IT's unfortunate that there is so much hate for the Bush administration that the dems elect such a man. 12 years ago this guy wouldn't have gotten the time of day and would have been considered way too liberal...now he's the darling of the media.

The last time I remember reading about a "darling of the media" was JFK. But he had a political machine behind him. I don't know that Obama does. As much as it pains me to do so, I have to give kudos to Billary for the messages at the convention. They could so easily have taken the low road and further divided the party.

It's insurance in case BO slips up and that enables her to get another shot - let's not forget this is "the business of politics"! And the Clintons are good at that.
