Obama shot himself in the foot when he picked Biden to shore up his lack of foreign policy experience. So much for his claims of judgment. And his claims of “change” went down the toilet with Biden being a Washington insider having served in the Senate since Nixon was in office. Business as usual complete with sleazy associates coming out of the woodwork. It’s no wonder that Obama supporters are so intent on sliming McCain and Palin. Their guy is in trouble and they know it.

What gets me is that the people on here that support Obama and Biden just rip McCain and now Palin. I've yet to hear anything good said by them about Biden...or what he has done. We are trumpeting Palin's conservatism and such. Can anyone stand up and say..."yeah Biden's out man...raise them taxes buddy...raise them!" Where are you people?

They found a designated idiot to carry their water for them. Or maybe it’s just because it’s a holiday weekend.

Oh please. AOO. I for one have stopped trying to talk politics with you. You yourself admit a lot of what you say is to stir the pot. I can't really debate with someone like that.

I've not said one bad thing about Palin. I've hardly said anything bad about McCain. The thing is that I allow others to have their opinions and continue on the conversation but a lot of folks on both sides don't do that here and it's tiresome and the same stuff on a different day. Boring.

I talk politics all the time with friends here. Friends that are of all sides of the political spectrum. I give respect and I get respect in those conversations. It's not exactly possible here with the anonomity.

For the record AOO, I think you are very smart. I think you have good ideas and have some good things to say but the manner in which you present it is often meant to incite defenses.

I don't think you are an idiot for supporting McCain. We all have our own reasons and I assume that you have done your homework. I would just like the same respect.

.... that's a big assumption to make jackknife!

But you are right jackknife, it gets so boring hearing the same old "stir-the-pot" comments being continually recycled ...... its becomes almost predictable as to what responses are going to be from certain individuals.

There are (+)'s and (-)'s on both sides of the political divide, no one side has the complete package, its an impossibility, so one has to carry out a personal audit as to how the differences tally in terms of one's own political view-point, and then make a decision but its bound to be a compromise of sorts.

...."Says the other pot-stirer!"

Some people are a little too "into" their politial bias and not able to hear the negatives of their own candidate or the positives of the other. Not that you have a candidate.

I would like to have political conversations that are not defensive but everyone attacks McCain and now Palin but I don't see anyone standing up and touting Bidens record. Why don't you start a thread about how and why you support Obama and Biden and we will keep it as positive as can be.
