I intentionally left out that the person was hispanic or not because in this case it doesn't matter. Parking where you shouldn't is wrong regardless of race or gender. I figured there would be one or two that would throw down the race card albeit not important to this conversation. In other words I tossed out some bait...now gimme my hook back Jaws......lol

Obviously I had a bad weekend....Dillions also sucks

I ran into Dillions to pick up something I forgot, and thought while I'm there I'd have them check a scratch off ticket for me. There was a hispanic lady in front of me at the first customer service station and she was sending western union. The person behind the counter had to move down to the last station to send it, they moved between the two stations a couple of times before the hispanic lady went down to the last one with the employee. OK I'm not going to move back and forth with them so I just stayed put. The employee came back to the first station to retrieve her pen and smiled at me, so she did acknowledge that I was there. In the mean time, another woman comes up looks at me and gets in line behind the woman sending the western union....and she keeps fidgeting like she's in some big hurry.
The employee finishes with the western union and starts waiting on the other lady.....I'm like HELLO, did you see me waiting here.....it's been a long day and I walk off before I pitch a fit. I go pick up the couple of things I came in for and check out. By now there is a different employee at the customer service desk...and the lady that had been standing there like she was in such a hurry is still standing there....scratching off lottery tickets.... I get in line behind her and the guy behind the counter asks her if she can move over so he can wait on me. He asks if he can help me and I told Thank You for acknowleging me...He obviously grasps my sarcasm and ask me if there was a problem...I explained what happened before and of course he apologizes, I explain that it's not his fault and can he check my ticket. The lady scratching lottery tickets tells me she saw me there before and she's sorry if she jumped in front of me, of course I tell her it's not her fault she doesn't work there, I'm aggravated at the lady who wouldn't wait on me. THEN she tells me that she thought I was with the other lady and that I need to be more aggressive about getting waited on. OK that made me mad....I told her I'm not a rude pushy person even when people are being rude to me in a petty situation, I was raised better than that. I also asked her, why she would think I was with the other lady??? I wasn't standing with her. She said and I cannot believe this, she thought I was hispanic and they travel in packs.
I just rolled my eyes and walked off......

btw, I won $20 on my scratch off ticket

In England, where I am from, if you cannot pass the 40 question multiple choice and 1 hour with an examiner driving test IN ENGLISH, then you are not allowed to have a licence.

The in car examiner asks you lots of questions too while you are driving, and even tries to trick you into making a mistake by saying things like "Take the next right" - the next available right actually being the second right because the first is a no-entry. He also takes you through almost every situation you will encounter in the real world to see how you perform. Emergency stop, parallel parking, busy junctions, highways, reversing, turn in the road (called a '3 point turn' because you have to do it in three turns in under 3 minutes), just about all of it.

One mistake and you are done, no retake for 3 months. That is why I chuckle at the test here. 25 easy questions and once around the block.

Oh, and 95% of the cars in England are stick shift too. If you pass the test using an automatic, you are ONLY allowed to drive an automatic.

Almost the same thing happened to me at the deli counter at Walmart the other day. I was waiting and some lady came up looking like she was in a hurry. When the guy asked who was next she stepped up and started to order. I had to interupt and say "pardon me but I believe I was next". She gave me a dirty look like I was the one in the wrong....grrr. And it doesn't matter if she was hispanic, white or black...
