Are you saying there is a short supply? That is, there isn't any oil and or gas?
Have you seen a station that is out of gas? Have you had trouble finding gas to buy? Me thinks it's all horsehit!! Manipulation of the market. Just like electricity in California in 2000. Nothing but people gettin rich while the gettins good.

Supply & demand my ass! It is a "bend over--here it comes" kinda deal! What are you gonna do? You have to have it to get to work, Dr appointments, grocery store, etc.

Yeah they just keep climbing because people need it so they buy it at whatever price they put up. I was on Wyatt Earp and I know the station by Taco Bell is always more expensive, but it was almost $3.50 a gallon.... It's getting rediculious. I'm so glad I downsized a couple years ago and got a car instead of the SUV I was driving!

If you'll pardon the pun, they have us over a barrel. Other than the private car, there aren't really any other immediate* forms of transportation out here in rural Kansas, so it's not like we can go without a gallon o'gas for very long.

*the local bus service needs 24 hours notice and the cabs are about $10 just to get in! :-)

Well, one thing that we can count is "NOT" being told the truth! I am pretty sure that these big oil companies on down, won't be posting the truth about the profits they have gotten! The government should have stopped these companies from making these huge profits off of those who can barely afford to live in the first place! I feel that these huge profits are nothing more than blood money! People have to suffer for them to make these kinds of profits! Do they care? Not one bit, and neither does this government! Yet these same companies are once again trying to pull one over on us by saying that they are "NOW" trying to find other forms of fuel! JUST NOW? Why not decades ago? Well, there is too much money to be made! What else? There are those who want us to believe that there is nothing that we can do! WRONG! Years ago when a company tried this "gouging" tactics to make more money! But, when this would occur the public would just stop buying the products made by these companies. And when this happened, low and behold, the prices went way down! This can be done today if we just stop thinking we can't! Not only can this happen, we SHOULD be making this happen! When these companies stop making these huge profits and go into the "RED", there is not doubt the prices will drop like a rock! WE just have to do this! Will it be easy on us, of course not! But that does not make this impossible! We can no longer wait for someone else to do this, because if we do, it will never get done! WE have to do this, no one else can! Enough said!

To be honest, I haven't pumped my own gas for several weeks. Hubby does it. I had to do it last week and about died. $3.50.....Geezus.
