I thought there was an alternative to poisoning. Don't they have those big vacuum pipes that can suck the little guys up, then move them later? They're so cute, I always look at them when I drive by.

As a former farmer/rancher, I have NO love for the prairie dog. It should be called a prairie rat. The damage and diseases of these varmits are more than you would imagine. I say take them near extinction!!!

AND, I am in favor of poisoning them, if done correctly.
