On another subject, isn't it amazing how the Denver "donkeys" seem to have a pretty strong team year after year. Even when they lose key players, they seem to always bounce back. I guess you gotta give Shannahan credit. He seems to keep "hee hawwing" away!!
...yes and they do it with a qb that is not as good at Trent Green. They have a GREAT running game and a pretty good passing game combined with good play calling and a decent defense. They are a contender...

Chiefs try to keep playoff hopes alive with the Bengals coming to Arrowhead at noon today. Of course, not only do they have to beat the Bengals, but the Steelers have to lose to the Lions. The second half of the equation could be a tough one!

Thanks to Denver. It was very hard yesterday to root (sic) for Denver. But again, they were playing an old Cheifs Coach (Can't even think of how to begin to spell his name).

Chiefs win big over the Bengals. Ah, but too late, the STeelers win. Chiefs out of playoffs.

Cowboys lose. Cowboys out of playoffs.

Vermeil retires.

Larry Johnson finishes AWESOME. Just think what a full year would have done.

MIUSA, it was a great game. Too bad the kicker learned to kick too late. Well, there is always next year. Wonder who will coach? Any ideas?

Did anybody else shed a few tears along with Coach? I don't think it was because it was so sad to see him go - I've thought for some time we needed to shake it up a little. Maybe I just got caught up in the moment. Hubby was laughin..................I AM going to get even one of these days..........

I keep hearing Herman Edwards name mentioned, but I don't know why!!
He still has 2 or 3 years left on the Jets Contract, and IMO there are alot better Coaches out there.

Also, keep hearing Bob Stoops mentioned.

As far as Al Saunders, I think when Gunther failed, that ended the Asst. Coaches being promoted.

I was thinking when they kept saying we were losing The Coach and one other coaching position that they were giving Gunther the boot. I guess not. Did I hear Al Saunders has already accepted a position elsewhere or was I just dreaming?

Al Saunders name has came up for several head coaching positions. Have not heard of any confirmed yet. As I said, seems the Chiefs are afraid of promoting an assistant after the Cunningham fiasco!!
