 I just heard Preist Holmes career is over. They announced earlier the spinal bruise he received in the san diego game ended his season. Today he stated he was done...Must of been more than a bruise..Too bad, I hate to see a pro-bowl player done before his time. |

| It's definitely too bad. I'm just hoping that he really will be back - next season - and that his whole career isn't over. But the way I heard it is that the "bruise" that's there is more of a knot caused by repeated injury. To play that hard that long, the guy has to have a true love of the game and his team. It will be tough for him to sit it out the rest of the season.

| Yes...it sucks..he's a great guy with a great work ethic. The UPSIDE is I have Larry Johnson in BOTH of my fantasy football teams and he now will get all the reps! I know it's selfish........

| Army, are you comin' up here for the KC/Denver game in December? My sister & hubby and two friends are coming and we're going along. I hope the weather isn't cold by then..........

| NOPE, not making it. I'm a fan BUT I did a Denver game once before in Dec and it was like 5 degrees outside. I'm a fan but NOT that big of a fan. I was freaking COLD..and my ex-wife complained the whole time so...will probably not do a Dec game. I'll be in front of my t.v with an adult beverage that I didn't pay $8 for watching the game. I HATE the BRONCO's...(almsot as much as the Raiders) Was going to go to the Raiders game but the guy wanted too much for the tickets ($250 each) so we didn't go....Plus I had to work Saturday and we couldn't have came to KC until late Sat. Night.

 I can see us freezing our arses off, too. Sister will no doubt be full of antifreeze, though. I'd like to talk them into taking a local bus to the game. Eliminates the parking lot hassles. In the cold, that would be pretty nice. We'll miss you - and probably drink one for you. Mine might not be a cold beer, though - probably some spiked hot chocolate!

| UR A HARDCORE FAN!!! That's all I have to say about that!!! LOL GO CHIEFS!!! We need to win the next couple on the road because after that it's almost all play off teams for us!

| Well, Army..............the finish didn't look so good today, huh? Did the offensive line think this was just a practice drill? Where was the QB's protection? The last throw he made into the end zone should have been caught - was catchable. But that would have only given them 6 (maybe 7) points. The real problem was that the opposing team seems to have read the play book. Or watched films. Or played smart. Oops? Is that allowed? I couldn't believe it. The offensive line just fell apart. And the defensive line still doesn't stop the opponent. Well, we got 3 points, at least.....
