Well, the Legend pulled out the home opener last Saturday, Thanks to the experience and persistence of the "old man" Laz Simms. Good crowd on hand. And if you haven't seen Sun MingMIng yet, you gotta come see him. He is a very large boy!!

However, after being up by 22 points at NE Penn., the boys got beat by one point on a last second shot to end the game. The long road trip goes on.
Play again Saturday.

The away games back East are not being telecast on the radio, due to lack of a broadcaster I guess. Supposedly, the away games back here will be on the radio.

By the way, keep Steve Brown in your prayers.

Sun has been getting some playing time lately. Had several blocks the other night. Without much local coverage or box scores, it is hard to keep up with them on the road. He had a sore ankle, and uniform problems at first. The uniforms that Dodge had were too small, sothey had to sew two together until they could get a Supersized one.

And chill out Army! I know alot of these young men personally, and I think you are out of line! If you have proof, then present it.

Of all the drugs they could be doing... That one I care the least about. It's illegal, and it's not something I would do. But it is their personal life, their choices, and inevitably their own punishment should they be caught. What I do enjoy is the fact that all these guys love the kids and sign every autograph that is asked of them.

Ya'll offeren up pictures of the deed??? That would only mean you were partakin or providin. Either way this is just some sick kinda thought. Most of us realize that some might do things that are not what some of us consider kosher. When ya endorse it tho I really gotta wonder about how you expect your kids to stand on right or wrong. Ya'll have problems standin on right and wrong.

I and probably many others here have partaken, provided, and hey truth be known ya'll probably partook of some from here when I hit town way back when cause truth is ya'lls weed just sucked in the 60's. There is no question tho where I stand on the issue of Pro, semi pro, wanna be pro sports figures, role models, teachers, nurses, cops, military, etc doin illegal (misdormeanor or not) drugs. They are still drugs. Sorry there is tax on booze but in our society that's how ya base legal and illegal.

Wanna offer some steroids as well so they don't have to spend thier life in the little DC leagues and can be a part of the "reeeeealy big show"???? If ya'll are glamorizing drug use in any sports team - ya'll need to go bed down with Bonds. He loves that!! He gets his without a doubt but ya know what his victory ain't near as sweet as it should be - WHY????........... the suspicion, admission, + testing of illegal drugs............ shame aint it? All that glory - no respect..............

I don't partake in the deed...it was a figure of speech saying "want pictures"...basically saying it wouldn't be hard to get them. I agree with you also that they are role models for young kids. They do clinics here in Dodge and such and as role models they have a certain responsibility to abide by the law....that's just my opinion. The "he's a good basketball player so let him have a little fun in his off time" excuse doesn't fly with me.

nor me. I have a hard time with professional sports figures getting reduced and/or no sentences when they've misbehaved. Seems like we'd be harder on them for an example instead of letting them go because they're important. I just don't get it sometimes! mb

I don't know bout ya'lls belief in sports figures..... as for me - I believe in Bagwell, Moon, Ryan, now those are figures with class. I don't know much about sport figures - I think they get paid enough for me to still believe there are such figures around.

AOO, I have spent time around alot of the Legend players, and have only disliked a couple over the last 5 years. The Legend Coaches try to bring in good kids. Of course, there are probably always a bad apple once in awhile. Just like in life. By the way, I can point out several people who do all kinds of things, and they are NOT Legend players. They are MILITARY personel, Cops, Judges, Businessmen, Lawyers, Teachers--------------so, What's your point??
