You could tell the Texans a mile away cause they: 1) All drove Lincoln Navigators, Ford Excursions & Cadillac Escalades. 2) They all had on Eddie Bauer hunting accessories. 3) They all carried a Weatherby or an Italian O/U. 4) And they thought they "owned" the whole damn State!! Well, at least they kept the Liquor Stores in Business!! ![]() |

| LOL LOL Oh they were just showin off.......they aren't near as bad as they seem.... ya know what they say..... ya get what ya pay for...... When I lived in DC - I just wanted to jump in the back of a Navigator and head south - but those boys do act dumb at times - I must admit. They all mean well, and for the most part they all got license to carry heat on top of the fancy guns that you actually see, plus they got money to burn. It's like they are on vacation or sumthin...... kinda like ya'll are on 1st day of huntin season. Right of passage for most. My family was the kind of family that if the girls went - we had to be the bird dogs and do the flushin...... so huntin never was a sport of mine. I just like the catch.

| I started going when I was 5 years old, and doing the "bird dog" thingy too! But I guess, being a guy, it was alot of fun for me, and I got to be with my Dad and Uncles. By the way, TK, I wasn't just picking on Texans----there was quite a few Okies up here too! You could tell the Okies a mile away cause they: 1) All drove a Ford Focus, an old Chevy Pickup, or a herd of sheep. 2) They all had on boxer shorts and knee high rubber boots. 3) They all carried an Otasco model 1 shotgun, or a bow and arrow. 4) And they thought that "karaoke" was an Okie word for "pallbearer"! Well, at least they kept the bars in business! ![]() |

| I like that....Hey, Made in the usa, both of us had the same influences. Anyone notice the % of young people taking an interest is way down compared to 25 years ago. When I was a 7th grader all of my freinds were hunters. Id see all my buddies at 5;00 in the morning with their dads at the armory eating pancakes...Man those were the good ole days. If you wake a kid up now at 4:30 on a cold sat morning to go hunting, most would feel like their being punished. |

| You are too funny Made - I'd rep ya but I'm "forbidden"...LOL I do recall the outta staters outnumbered the in staters on 1st day of huntin season...LOL Each individual state with it's own "charm"...... ROTFLMAO

| I gave him rep for ya! I was actually allowed to give some, most of the time I get the "gotta spread it around first" screen. ![]()
