| NCAA Football Alot of good games this past weekend. Looks like KU is tougher than they predicted? Give Mangino a chance, he is a good coach. K-State? I think there is problems up there. Mizzou won big. Texas won big. Iowa State won. Oklahoma struggled. Colorado lost. Outside the Big 12, Notre Dame had it's hands full with Georgia Tech. Ohio State rolled. They get to play Texas next week.     |

| Actually Texas had the 13th ranked strenth of schedule last year. LSU had the 50th toughest schedule, Auburn was 61st in strength, Oklahoma was #1 in schedule strength and Colorado was 6th (another big 12 team). LSU and Auburn only played one game against a top 10 team between the two of them (Auburn) and lost that game. Florida and Alabama both played a top 10 team and lost. So much for the SEC powerhouse. The big 12 finished with 3 teams in the top 11 Sagarin ratings last year while the SEC had one. The Big 12 had 8 of their 12 teams going to bowl games winning 5 of the 8. The mighty SEC send 7 teams and of their 3 losses one of them was a loss to big 12 teams. What better place to show out for your conference than at a bowl game and they lost to the big 12. Your mighty Auburn lost to Wisconsin...LOL. You can argue all day long but we'll see what happens. Fact is that in the BCS standings for this year the SEC doesn't have a team in the top 5. WOW. They haven't beaten up on each other yet and still don't have a top 5 team.
