Jayhawk Football
Anybody see the KU vs Nebraska game Saturday? Started out like , but it ended up being one heckuva game. Too bad the Hawks lost it in overtime! I think Mangino needs to keep Barmann at QB, but get some new receivers that can catch the ball!

Mangino does more with less than most coaches. If he ever had the talent that NU has or that K-State has wasted over the years I think he would have a few more bowl games under his (large) belt. I believe he's a pretty good coach.

barman, fumble on the 2 or 3 yard line and then an INT into the endzone. I dunno, tough decision on the QB i think.

Makes me wish I would have kept watching....I watched til about 9:00 left in first quarter and it looked like Nebraska was going to run away with it so I turned the channel. I didn't find out til after it was over that it went into OT.

I was contemplating switching channels too, Bubba. But then the butterflies subceded, and the action began. Army, Mangino had good teachers. He also realizes the advantages of a good line and a good defense. I always thought he was a good Coach, if he lives long enough at his size. Drifter, just butterflies. Barmann has good tendencies as maturity, and not getting rattled. All the Nebraska Red is enough to startle anyone. Last time they were at KSU, I was there, and I was startled in our home stadium. Meier needs more experience, although I think he will be alot better than his brother at KSU.
