| How's it looking for Birds this year? I'm thinking of driving back to see some old friends and see if the dog's training has done any good probably 11/11 or 11/18. The Kansas DNR website doesn't sound too encouraging for pheasants in the SW corner, anyone hear differently? Thanks     |

| I know that a couple of kids got their limit in a short time last weekend for youth weekend.

| OOD, I think it is a pretty down year myself. Nothing compared to last year. I travel alot, and have not seen many. I think the drought and the heat killed off alot of the hatch this Spring. However, there are some people telling me that certain spots look good. I will be out there on Saturday, with the rest of the "religous", but I just enjoy getting out whether I get any birds or not! |
