Chiefs....

Well, the Chiefs are now 7-4 despite losing their starting qb for a few weeks and despite all the other injuries and setbacks they have had. They are #5 right now of 6 teams that will make the playoffs. Of their last 5 games they play two of the best teams in the AFC, Baltimore (at home) and San Diego on the road...both teams are 8-2. They also have to play J'ville at home and they are in the playoff hunt. The other game they play is VS the Raiders @ Oakland which is never easy because Oakland will bring their best. The Chiefs have an uphill battle to make the playoffs. If they can beat Oakland on the road and come away with 2 quality wins at home VS J'ville and Baltimore they can afford to drop the one at San Diego. We'll see. What they can't do is stumble vs Cleveland. That should be a W all the way.

And hope that Larry J. stays healthy, and Herm doesn't get too involved in the offense!

I'm a little impressed myself. I watched 'em pull one out last week coming from behind to win vs the Broncos. Never thought I'd see that. The rest of the season should be pretty interesting.

Muh ha ha ha!!! The Chiefs have made me proud! If you think they are good now, just wait till they beat San Deigo! (Yep, the whole darn town!) GO CHIEFS! (When you are the only Chiefs fan in the entire country where you live, you have to go a little overboard.)

Why were you surprised. The Chiefs haven't lost to Denver at home since 2001.

I hope the Chiefs beat San Diego but....they barely beat them at home and they have to play AT San Diego and the Chiefs don't play as well on the road. 2-3 vs Road teams or play well against the AFC. San Diego/AFC/Road game/LT on fire = probable loss for the Chiefs. If I had to pick a game for them to lose it would be this one. Must win games @ Raiders and @ Cleveland. If they can take Jacksonville at home and B'more at home they can afford the skull dragging they will get in San Diego. I'm a CHiefs fan big time but I am also realistic.

What's the deal with the blocked punt, and they give it to the Chargers?? Herm just stands there and takes it! I think something sucks here, as that should be KC ball. Then LT takes the first play 85 yards for an untouched touchdown! Jeeeeeeezzzzee!!!!

And Trent Green-----------sucks tonite, as he has the last few weeks. Put Damon back in, at least he can scramble and we were winning!

Holy cow, mitUSA! Just blurt it out!!! Woulda been nice to win one for Lamar - doesn't look like it's in the cards tonite. I commented that Trent ought to sit on the bench for tonite and hubby just looked at me funny (like as if to say, "Who pulled your chain?") and said that the line isn't blocking for him. I gotta agree as I'm watching. They're playin' worse than some of the high school teams up here!!! The touchdown about made me wet my pants. Could NOT believe it. He just strolled into the end zone. (and hubby gave me another one of "those" looks.) I'm gonna have to go get a beer and a snack.
