The only suit and tie I saw was probably the cat that did the comic book for PETA - I'm not against PETA - but really have a problem with folks who put metal into redwoods so loggers decapitate themselves while trying to make an honest living. I have a problem with people that try to convey to my grandson that if I catch and release I may also hurt his animals. I have a problem with people that push their propaganda to the point where they are lookin for doctors for fish.........

Puleeeze........I pay for a fishing liscense - it's about $50 a year - and when I'm in another state fishing I buy a liscense.............Heck I bet I spend $50 everytime I go fishin......live bait isn't cheap. We don't use worms down here.....

We didn't mean to offend ya DH...... but come on now...... that tidbit from PETA.........was really insulting to those of us that hunt and fish....I don't hunt but in my family if the guys didn't hunt there were times when they wouldn't have eaten.....

We are lucky we can now do the sport for pleasue..........

I agree with ya TK. I go fishing occasioally, but I've never looked like that. And the others at the lake, or where ever I'm at have never looked like that either. my stance on it, and just about everything is if you dont' like it, don't do it. But don't tell me I can't do it either. Same way with people about tv. They don't like it, so the try and tell me I can't watch it either. If you don't like it, don't watch it.


Everyone's entitled to thier own opinion. But when you force your's on me, or my children, when i have them, then we have a problem.

Well truth is I have looked like that.........without the suit when I was tryin to kill those darn little hard heads that ate my live bait and will fin the hell outta me if I try to take them off the hook. So I get my trusty long nose stats and rip the hook out if I can - otherwise I reel up and slam their little heads on the pier deck till they are dead. Then they don't flp around and fin me thru my tennies......Plus as an added bonus they don't eat my bait again - lord knows all their cousins do tho........It's just a horror........ sumbody otta do sumthin!!! .wish PETA would take all the little hard heads and give them a new home - them and little piggy perch.......theives.....all of them are theives....

Now, first husband loved to hunt and fish. Only did so legally. I went along on occasion, but was bored to tears. You have to sit there so long. And you have to be quiet!! He finally married #3 and she's the perfect mate - cleans his fish and his game birds for him.

Match made in heaven..............are ya all ready for my cloud again?

That's just my fishin life......it's a jungle down here.....LOL Not the best natured fisher person - but love to fish.......so long as somebody baits the hook and takes off the fish....

That’s part of the enjoyment. Peace and quite. Just blending in with Mother Nature. Listen to the wind blow, birds sing, watching leaves fall, seeing little critters going about their business.

Yep that's my idea of fishin.......just love to sit and look around.....lord knows I don't catch a lot of fish.........
