I will throw this into the "Rumor Mill"

Just heard today that Pick may be leaning more towards KU as the next level. I am sure he only gave a verbal to Ark.

I was listening to the demon game tonight on the radio and steve brown had mention that brodrick the garden city quarterback didn't play this evening game, what I heard in garden last week i'm wondering if the heat is on. This kid awhile back got caught with an airpistol on school grounds and was only suspended for one day of school for it. Just not right

You are right on that, Brownsugar. It made the news last week (about the toy gun problem at the High school in Garden). Of course, he had just piled up 361 yards rushing against Dodge, so he got "special treatment"! Goddard spanked them last night.

I heard a rumor that Smith was not supposed to be allowed to play in the Dodge City game, the week before. If this is true, they are talking about making Garden forfeit the game. That would mean that if Dodge City could beat Goddard next week, that we might make it into the playoffs, right?

i heard the same thing. there was an article in the garden paper(worse than the globe). There was a couple of incidents where he brought an airsoft gun to school. The first time was the thursday before the Ulysses game and he wasn't suspended for that game. Something fishy there.

could it be that ARK recruited a higher rated QB?

BTW, I am getting more impressed with KU's current QB. He is exciting to watch.

I was told it was because of the atmosphere going on there. Very much like Nebraska. Many people upset at coaches, wearing black to the games and calling for their firings, etc. He doesn't want to go there as these coaches choice for the future and then have a new coach come in with different plans.
