| Shocker Baseball The Wichita State Shockers play the second game of their super-regional today at noon on ESPN. They lost a heartbreaker yesterday by a 1-0 score. They must win the next two games to get to the College World Series!! GO SHOX     |

| Boy today was a heartbreaker! I watched it and thought they were gonna do it until UCI got the hit in the bottom of the ninth! UC Irvine 3 WSU 2 bummer!

| Well, I guess they made it that far. UCI is more known for offense, but their pitchers sure shut down the Shockers. That kid today wasn't throwing that hard, but those balls just fell off the end of the table. I feel for Gene, as he is a helluva guy and a great Coach. Did have a great "sold out" following at the stadium both days. Get them next year guys! |

| I did see a "first" I saw an umpire reverse a call that was pretty questionable to me, but I think it was close enough to be a tie and that should go to the runner anyway! Boy UCI was pi$$ed!
