A rifle range, built to spec would be an excellent project for the WND monies. Hell, might even get the CFAB to run it, or better yet the city.
WND can build footzball fields (how many, yet to be termined), no one would notice one little rifle range besides a footz field. Uzi's, M-2 HB, M-14's, 16's, Thompsons, whatta blast that would be.

I use fire hydrants for static targets and tires when I'm wanting some action....

The closest actual range is in Garden City. I think it is run by the members of the Sand and Sage Gun club. Other than that you may be able to find someone out in the county that has a piece of ground that has enough room and a safe backstop.

It's easier to find a place to shoot handguns than rifles but I think there would be enough demand that a range could be built. I'm not sure what the liability and environment issues would be. I think someone like the NRA has plans and information and maybe some money available if someone was thinking about putting one in.

It's not a quota it's a mission....and I'm not "still trying". I have already met my mission for the month but a little over production is always nice. I always have to be prospecting....gotta fill the funnel.

Oh, hold on, there. AOO, when you say "42 and under", that's a little discriminating. When I hire (which won't happen again for a long time due to the recent layoff.....), I can't discriminate upon age - I can't ask and the interviewee doesn't usually give that information up. So, you're saying the Army can't use a perfectly educated 45-year-old in some sort of job?

If you hold some type of professional degree in certain area's we may make exceptions...Dentist, Doctor, Lawyer, otherwise..NOPE.

We are not bound by the same laws that you are due to the job. When someone calls me and is interested in learning about our opportunities I ask them things that you would be sued silly for. I ask their HT/WT, Medical History, Criminal History, if they are married or single, how many kids they have, their sex (yes we only let men do certain jobs...) and their financial background....all of which you can't do...heheheh
