Chiefs Pre-season game

Not sure if anyone is watching the First chiefs preseason game, but former Dodge City CC Conquistador Nate Harris is currently playing. looks like he is running 2nd team at middle linebacker

So far their first team "D" looks pretty good...I will give that they are playing the Browns though.... Croyle is going to need much much work.

Looks like another "LONG" year?!?!?
Does Herm have any idea how to build a good football team?? Hope they improve a bunch before the season starts!

I'm a home-town all-weather Chiefs fan - got all the clothes & stuff.....but I couldn't bring myself to watch the game last night. Had the grand baby, but that wasn't it, either. Was offered the company tickets. Well, it was too hot for one thing, but I just couldn't do it. They've come out of the gate hot before and did a shabby job all season. It's just so hard to judge. I didn't want to get my hopes up.

To me it takes more than owning a t-shirt and a hat to make you a chiefs fan.

I think he does but he's going to need some time. Their qb situation is going to be their drawback. Huard is not a guy to take them deep into the playoffs and if he goes down then you have nothing....They need to pay LJ what he's worth and get him into camp asap. He needs to be on the field, suited up and ready to carry the ball on opening day...

LJ is being an "ass"! He signed a contract to perform for x-amount of dollars, he should live up to his contract!! I would say, by the brief look last night, that running back is not our terrible weakness. QB and Receivers looked pretty shaky! That first round pick from LSU better really perform, after his holding out and missing camp!! Bunch of overpaid, whiney, spoiled, crybabies!!!

Yeah, the office has season tickets so we can take agents, and in the last 4 or 5 years, I only missed a couple of games that were too damned cold! This year, I'm taking it a little easier....besides, the co gets more out of the underwriters taking agents than management taking them. More schmooze time, ya know............and I can have some people over to the house and watch it all on big screen. I can see the game better anyway.

Worst move in football was the Chiefs fingering Huard to be starting QB! He is and will always be a great back-up. If it is time to rebuild, they should have drafted or traded for someone better.

What is the latest on Priest Holmes??

I think I heard today that they are close to getting LJ's contract redone. I think the first exhibition game kind of made up their mind!
