Our Dodge City Red Demons start there season this friday at wichita south.

Also first game at the newly renovated Memorial Stadium will be this Saturday as the DCCC Conqs take on Butler County at 7 pm.

Next weeks game against East is going to be on ESPN2. Sure would have looked good on TV with a big RED DEMON at the 50!!

The first Red Demon game is friday night in Wichita, and it will be broadcast on Magic 95 - 95.5 FM. Steve Brown is back at full strength and will be doing the games with a color commentator as well - oh yeah, I guess that is me! Steve and I did a few seasons of football and basketball together back when I was in radio and we always had a good time...make sure you tune in! Note that KGNO is not carrying the games any more - it will sound a whole lot better with a 100,000 watt FM signal behind it.

The first home game, which will be on Sept 7, is on ESPN-U (not ESPN2). This channel, from what I am told, is on digital Cox cable, maybe even satellite, but not on regular cable. ESPN-U is carrying it because the visiting team has two of the top ranked high school players in the nation.

I am waiting for the game on the 21st, my son is on the visiting team.........yeah, gonna be kinda odd me wearing my Demon pride while cheering for a Liberal player to sack the quarterback.
