Looks like the KU/Neb score from last week. I think NEB took out all their frustration on KSU.

Makes the KU win over K State less important. KSU ranking right up there with Baylor.....lol

Nope! Baylor is WAY DOWN THERE!! However, I think any team can win on any given day, so here's hoping we can keep it going on the straight and narrow!

K-State Basketball

What happened to KSU this year? They have already dropped 3 games and haven't even started their conference schedule this year. What happened to the buzzzzz?

Their Senior that they were counting on for leadership, Hoskins, is out with an injury and might be back by the time they get into conference play. They lost to George Mason in a fairly close game. They lost to Oregon(#17 @ the time) while they were ranked 25th, so when you play a better ranked team aren't you kinda expected to lose? They lost to Notre Dame (with older, bigger, ecperienced players) at Madison Square Garden in a really good game. Also, with 3 min. left in the game they were within 2 points of Notre Dame(57-59), but Notre Dame's experience showed with a 9-2 run in the final minutes. I think that by the time they get to conference play that they will be playing better as a team. Especially if Hoskins gets healthy and back in the line-up.

Also, Michael Beasley has had double-doubles in almost every game, if not every game so far. He and Bill Walker (both Freshmen) are a pleasure to watch. Also, they both are very unselfish players for having as much talent as they do. In fact if they were a little more selfish they just might have a better record than they do. If you haven't watched them on TV, you should. For a very young team, they have a lot to look forward to.

PS. They play unbeaten California at 1pm tomorrow(Sunday) on FSN.

They may or may not be on FSN tomorrow. The KSU website says its on FSN Midwest at 1 pm. But the cox guide shows that something else is on at that time. So, who knows.....

They're young and inexperienced. Give them a few more games and then they will start "clicking."

They need to start playing more like a team instead of like "school yard". They are young and lack experience, however they need to get it together as several will be making the jump to the NBA next year after their "one year in college".
