There isn't anyone worth that much money! I think most professional athletes are overpaid anyway, but A-Rod is ridiculous. As you can see by the Yankees fiasco's over the past few years, expensive players do not guarantee a win.

But he makes them money. He sells shirts, put's people in the stands etc. You can argue a player is not worth that kind of money but when you look at the residual income he makes a franchise...sometimes they are worth it, especially if they are a brand name....LaBron, Tiger...ect. A Rod can't win a play off by himself either......
