Yep, I have to say Mendenhall is legit. Anyone else think that the RB from UCF, can't think of his name right now, but does anyone else think he needs some Heisman hype? I know I do. Have seen him play a couple times and have been nothing but impressed.

That doesn't keep me razzed up. I would rather watch my Fantasy Football team than the Army or Navy team. LIke Sgt T said...only West Pointers care about Army football.

Mizzou got the shaft in the BCS and KU got an early Christmas gift. The Tigers should be in the Orange Bowl instead of KU. They should not be punished for thumping KU, and then losing in the conference championship game.

No different that K-State getting the shaft back about 7 or 8 years ago. Playing that damn Big 12 Championship can really screw things up,

Mizzou should have gotten the BCS game, no doubt. I think the reasoning would be they lost to the same team twice and didn't play very well. As for the KU loss.......the 2 missed field goals (nothing to do with Mizzou's defense) would have had the game tied. KU did some serious rallying in the second half. While Mizzou did win, it was because KU beat themselves.

Since this thread looks to have about run its course, let me entertain you with a little football story.

So there I was, sitting in our wooden box with a TV in it that also doubles as a DFAC. The KU-Mizzu game was on, the game I had been waiting all night to see. You have to be truly dedicated to watch football here, even more so for the late games that don't come on till 0400, like the KU-Mizzu game. One of the CPT's on my team was there with me supporting his team, the Missouri Tigers. So, we all know what happend over the first three quarters, and then the fourth quarter started, and after enduring all the trash talk from this fine young CPT, KU started to show signs of life. Then, just as it was getting good, the cooks came out of the kitchen and kicked us out, so they could clean up the place to get ready for breakfast. So I never did get to see KU come back, instead I got to imagine it as I read the re-caps on the internet. I hate Iraq.
