I just wish we could all get along. KSU won the game and deserved to win in Manhattan. KU deserved the win at Allen Field House. Beasley is a great basketball player, and is confident in himself. KU is a great team (when they play hard), with some players as well. Coach Self is a great coach, and yes, I, too was disappointed Roy left. Seems no one can say much good about Roy, now. I just don't get it. These things are sporting events and not such a big deal in the whole scheme of things. Just ask Darnell Jackson, and Rodrick Stewart, who recently lost family members to tragedies.

Rivalries between schools exist everywhere. And like someone said, money seems to run and ruin everything anymore. I pull for all Kansas teams, KU, KSU, WSU, FHSU, PSU, and I have known alot of the athletes in all the programs. Each one has their own "persona", and are a unique individual. Of course, so do the fans. It would be OK with me if any of the Kansas teams won the NCAA the NIT, the NAIA, etc. However, like all fans, I have my own opinions and impressions.

Thank you whoknows, my sentiments exactly. And also just ask Clent Stewart, who recently lost his mother after a very long battle with cancer.

Since 88-31-10 doesn't want to "just get along", I'll do a bit of a KSU football history lesson. KSU beat Syracuse (w/ Donovan McNabb, you heard of him?) in the 1997 Fiesta Bowl, part of the bowl alliance. The bowl alliance was what came before the BCS. KSU was the Big 12 representative, Syracuse was from the Big East. But I guess you wouldn't know that since you probably didn't follow football in those days. I applaud what KU did this year, they proved themselves to be a very good team. Great, no. But very good. KSU will probably be lucky to stay within 3 touchdowns of them this season. But the fact is that KU didn't even win their division of the Big 12 this past year. KSU has won the Big 12 North 3 times and the Big 12 once. So don't try comparing the two.

Here's a funny story. I have a couple cousins who are big KU fans. They didn't believe me when I pointed out that Mangino was an assistant coach at KSU. When they researched it and saw I was right, I think they about cried.

A conference game that broke a 25 year streak. If you don't think that is a big deal just find out what KU was planning if they had won another one at Manhattan.
