According to Colin "Cowturd" on ESPN, the Big 12 is a "football conference" and shouldn't even be considered in the same sentence with the East and West! He thinks it's terrible if 6 Big 12 teams get in, because they are not "competitive"! He follows that up with how the last time a Big 12 team won it all was when KU won in 88.

Personally, I can't stand the prriick! I e-mailed him after the Orange Bowl and told him so! If it ain't USC, UCLA, UNC, Kentucky, Duke, Florida, or one of those, they don't exist!!

If the game would have ACC refs, yes, Beasley would foul out. Have you ever watched a UNC game? I have never seen a player get such good treatment by the refs. What single player has shut down Beasley this year? None. All that has stopped Beasley this year is foul trouble and junk defenses using double and triple teams.

I don't see KSU getting far in the dance. That is why I'd like to play a 1 like Memphis or UNC or a 2 like Duke. Yeah, you might lose, but if you win then it is a huge deal. Plus, I feel that the only way to shut up Vitale and the rest of those idiots is to beat one of their beloved ACC or Big East teams.

I have watched UNC play, and I have never seen a player get fouled as much as Hansbrough does with no calls. Now, he gets his fair share of no calls on the D end, but he could go to the line MUCH more in my opinion. Now, I didn't say anything about Hansbrough shutting down Beasley, I said I didn't think Beasley could control Hansbrough, so basically the fouls would shut down Beasley...the fact that teams are afforded the opportunity to use those junk defenses just tells what type of team KSU is, a one man team and thats it.

It is not secret that I am not a KSU fan, but Bubba maybe you are right that KSU will make the big dance. At 20-11 I don't feel that they should be there. They are to inconsistant in my book. KSU does not have a team, they have a Beasley and a Walker. Now with that being said I think that Beasley is the best player in the NATION. If you look at his stats with the team he is on there is no other player that could do what he has done. Hansbourgh in NC has talent all around him. If Beasley would have went to a better team what could he and his team done this year? My question to the KSU fans is what are the Wildcats going to do when Beasley and Walker go to the NBA next year?

KSU might fall off a bit, but not much. They have a lot of good young talent that has just been overshadowed this season. Jacob Pullen will be one of the best point guards in the Big 12. He had his best game of the season vs. KU in Manhattan this year, and we all know how good KU's guards are. Ron Anderson will only improve down low. Dominique Sutton will be very good also. He showed flashes of it this year before his knee injury. Another very good guard, Denis Clemente becomes elegible next season after transferring from Miami, where he played a lot as a true freshman. Jamar Samuels will also be good down low. KSU is also supposedly looking at some good Juco players right now also. There are also two top 100 players locked up for the 2009 recruiting class. You know, I actually think Walker might stay. He has always been #2. He was #2 to O.J. Mayo in high school and is #2 to Beasley this year. He might want to stick around another year to be the man and to improve his draft status.

KU fans seem to forget what their team was like when Rush and Chalmers were freshmen. I remember them being a little inconsistent and losing quite a few games. KSU finished 3rd in the #2 RPI conference, how do they not deserve going to the NCAA? They beat KU and they beat OU on the road. When they talk about Big East and Pac 10 teams with losing records getting in, I am pretty sure a team that goes 10-6 in the #2 RPI conference gets in.

A question for KU fans. What do you do after Robinson, Chalmers, Rush, Arthur, and Jackson are all gone? About all that leaves is Collins and Aldrich. Do you think Rush, Chalmers, Arthur, or Collins will leave early?
