Army, you know what they will have at this very expensive events center! Come on, you know they will have a home a garden show with "MANY" new lawn tractors and such! GEEZE! Lets see, what else can they have there! Graduations, uhmmmmm more graduations, uhmmmmm, high school basket ball games, uhmmmmm, easter eggs hunts for the less privileged here in Dodge, and lets see uhmmmmmmm, Graduations, oh I said this already, well you know!!! Maybe we will get a hockey team...there's always a big interest for that in Western KS.

I hear a Polo Team, so they can practice in the horse crap to get ready for the rodeo.

The Legend and USBL teams had some great PRO talent on their teams. Several future or retired NBA players were involved. I thought the games were good, however the final year of promotion/operation left a lot to be desired.

Maybe we could have Mexican Gang Wars in the new arena. Sinco and his boys would be regulars!

Well, the XFL had some great PRO talent on their teams, and the league was still a piece of crap! Several future or retired NFL players were involved, and the league was still a piece of CRAP!

Nobody said anything about the quality of players or play, if youd like to check, just scroll back through my earlier post.. WHAT I SAID was that its hard or downright impossible to get into a league where you dont know who will have a team this season, or if there will be a season this year, or if there will even be enough teams still financially able to participate 10 games into the season.. That kind of league sucks!

And thats the kind of stuff that makes leagues like the USBL un-necessary!

It worked great for out here in the "bushes". Since we do not live close to a LARGE CITY, we have no chance to go to professional sporting events. the only thing there is to do in Dodge is get drunk or work to pay the taxes!

I dont know if a quarter full DC Civic Center is considered 'working great'...

But Ill leave it at that..

I have been to every game that the Legend played at the Civic Center from Day One! Evidently, you just attended a few games this last year?? In addition, I attended most of the USBL Tournaments, except the one in Pennsylvania. Great Crowds in our Division, Terrible crowds back East. Not only did the USBL League drop the ball many times, but the Legend Owners dropped the ball on this last season. Our last season was pretty poor as per attendance and the owners delivering a decent product.
