Just have to brag since you're talking about wrestling. My youngest (7) made it to state this year in the kids wrestling. He lost his first two and was out but I'm still proud that he made it.

In the parade of champions they had a tribute to Greenburg- they had 3 or 4 wrestlers make it to state. It was neat.

Congratulations to your Son, Bound! I used to take kids to those tournaments for years, every weekend, leaving at 3 am, weigh ins at 6 am, all dayers, wild parents, but they bring great memories.

I do hope that these kids get some sort of praise from our local paper for all the hard work they have and are doing. They really don't need it to know that they have done good just from family, but it is always nice to hear it from other sorces. TO ALL WRESTLERS AND YOUNG SPORTSMEN & SPORTSWOMEN in DODGE CITY. ( And the adults tooooo! )

Hugz, I see that a kid from Bishop Carroll in Wichita won the 119 lb Championship in that National Tourney. He was the 5A State Champion.

Congrats to your little one. I believe wrestling is one of the best sports a kid can do.
