Hansbrough spent more time on the floor tonight than he did shooting. I hadn't seen him play before (don't really watch anyone but KU and KSU) and I was unimpressed. He looked like a giant baby constantly falling in the hopes of calling a foul.

His lack of playing defense was shown. I was getting pretty worried there for a bit........too many shots from outside that were just not hitting. Still, hell of a game!

KU threw a double team at him and he looked about as unathletic and uncoordinated as somebody can be. When KU threw doubles and triples at Beasley, he was still able to score a lot of points. That being said, Aldrich impressed me tonight. When I watched the McDonald's game last year, I didn't think too much of him. He has shown a lot of improvement and should be a solid player for KU next year.

Me thinks that maybe it is the other way around. Specifically, Aldrich and the rest of the Jayhawks made Hansbrough look like what he really is: a good player who has been over-hyped by "sports journalism".

They already threw out the "race card" a few days ago. Supposedly, just being hyped because he is white, according to the black media. Jeeez, some things never change.
