| World of Outlaws Anybody going to the Woo races tonite and tomorrow night? I was wanting to go, but too many irons in the fire. Tickets were a lot more reasonable this year, at $60 for both night total. I hope the storms hold off for the folks that do get to go. Should bring a lot of people to town for the retailers, motels, and restaurants! Too bad it won't help me any---------      |

| Outlaws. Man, would I have loved to have gone! But with prices like that, there would be no way. All I can do, is sit and listen to them! Not nearly as exciting, but we do have to adjust to the times, RIGHT? Damn times! Hate time!!!! |

| ESPN was there filming it and they said it be on tv on sunday,don't know if it's this sunday or what, but it was going to be on the speed channel

| Does anyone know how much it costs to bring these guys to town. I know I also saw a whole lot of "City Vehicles" out at the track all week long. I bet they worked out there for nothing, too. Hope we didn't lose to much more money out there this week. |

| I think I read in the Globe it cost the City 100,000.00 but I might be wrong. I know if they sold say 6,000 tickets at an average of 30.00 a ticket = 180,000.00 + Consessions. Then you take the 10,000.00 for the winner each night and the other winnings for the other classes and if they pay top 3 or so with the Outlaws.. and pay staff.. may have been a wash, but I really don't know I am just speculation (and I am not a math major). It was good racing though!
