I honestly thought this game would be closer than it was......It looks like the wheels have come off at K-State. What a difference a few years make. I remember a day when the KU v. K-State game meant an ass whoopin' for KU. Oh how the times have changed.

Fire Ron Prince? Didn't they just sign him to a 5 year extension worth about a Million a season? He can also earn some extra money based on performance...(KSU won't have to worry about forking that over)

If they fire him do they still have to pay him all that money?

I'm pretty sure his base salary isn't very close to one million but I could be wrong. A lot of these coaches don't have a huge base salary, it is all the perks and Nike contract, etc. that pay the money. I think I remember someone on gopowercat.com saying his buyout after this season would be a little over a million. That is a bargain if you ask me.

As for the excuse about the o-line being dinged up, yes that did hurt, but the o-line didn't give up 52 points.

this says 1.1 mil a year guaranteed. At the end they also said if he loses they will show him the door.

Last week, Kansas State extended its commitment to Ron Prince through 2012, and the Wildcats? head coach can?t complain about the terms. - Realfootball365.com

That is with all the extras and what not....his base salary for 2008 is/was $143,000. I heard that there is a clause for early termination with a $100,000 penalty. I also heard that the alumni have already contacted the college and told them they have the penalty money already lined up so the college won't have to pay it....

Prince’s base salary for 2008 will be $143,000 with a total guaranteed package of $1.1 million, which includes compensation from endorsements such as television, radio, internet, personal appearances and shoe and apparel. Prince could also earn up to an additional $950,000 per year in performance-based incentives.

I don't know where you're going with that, but,

MIT is right. The kid is a "prototypical" QB build. But despite that, Reesing mops the floor with him. If Freeman had Reesings IQ and tenacity he'd win the Heisman; The same if Reesing had Freeman's build.

I'm sure you all found the 3rd quarter back-to-back interceptions very painful. I found them absolutely hilarious. I'm talking about when Reesing threw the pick on the KSU 25 yd sideline, and Freeman immediately threw an interception on the first play of the ensuing drive.

All great religions, in order to escape absurdity, have to admit a dilution of agnosticism. It is only the savage, whether of the African bush or the American gospel tent, who pretends to know the will and intent of God exactly and completely.

Nice mature post. Once KU goes to a dozen or so bowl games in a row, wins the Big 12 north 3 times and wins the Big 12 then go ahead and get back with me. As for the game Saturday, nice win and congratulations. Don't get used to it because once we run our no-talent a$$ clown used car salesman of a coach out of town we will become competitive again.
