It's all going to come down to how well that many JUCO xfers can come together and play as a unit, and can Freeman not throw a million picks?

KSU has a chance of winning 8 games this year, I think. But they also have a possibility of another 5-7, 6-6 disappointment.
The Cats will have plenty of chances in the big 12 to show what they are made of....Big 12 has 5 teams in the top 11 right now.

The same can be said for the Hawks. That schedule is fairly grueling...

    an understatement at the least.......

The thing is that the Hawks have more expectations than the Wildcats. The only people that expect anything out of the 'Cats is 'Cat fans, coaches and alumni.

Ummm, okay, so who do add to the Hawks list that would differ from the Cats? The Pope? I am sure he is pulling for the Irish.....

I'm pretty sure the same list applies to KU, and no offense to Hawk fans, but I think that preseason ranking was not indicative of what they expect from KU this year, but really what they did last year. I don't think anyone expects KU to repeat what they accomplished last year with the schedule the way it is....

KU is ranked what....#11 in the nation so I would think that SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE expects SOMETHING of them......No one said they expect a repeat but they ARE nationally ranked..and with that ranking comes expectations. If anyone had any expectations of K State to win any big games they too would be one of the many Big 12 teams that are ranked.

They may be ranked here in the next few weeks.

They might win a national championship too.

    Hehe.

All great religions, in order to escape absurdity, have to admit a dilution of agnosticism. It is only the savage, whether of the African bush or the American gospel tent, who pretends to know the will and intent of God exactly and completely.

They have several JUCO transfers that are stepping up to the next level. Banks, Quarles are really shining. Ulla Pomele had a really great game last weekend! Also, the true freshman, Logan Dold from Golden Plain is getting some playing time and looking pretty good. He even scored his first touchdown last weekend.
