I am a HUGE Chiefs fan but not nearsighted. I predict 4 wins at the very most. Jayhawks fans tempered their expectations somewhat despite coming off of a cinderella season...then we have the Cat backers....living in la la land. Dude...take an HONEST look at your team, who you have played and how many points you have given up. Take off your little purple at for one minute and do an honest assessment of your team. You just lost to a Colorado team that really isn't very good. Next you play Oklahoma, Kansas and Mizzou with the latter two being on the road. OU is going to skull f**K you at home and you really don't have a chance vs Mizzou or Kansas. After 4 straight losses you get a reprieve and get Nebraska at home...a team that took Texas Tech to overtime...at Texas Tech. (the same Tech team that beat you by 30 in your back yard) They SHOULD beat Iowa State and end the season on a "high" note. How your coach is keeping his job is beyond me. You should end up with 5 wins, 2 of them being in conference...again...not enough to keep a coaching job at a major program.

That is an objective look at your football team. You should try it sometime. If you can't do it let me know....give me a call..I would LOVE to bet with you on the games sometime.
I too am a realist. I thought we had a chance at CU, but wasn't expecting it. I know without a doubt we were the better team last night, we just gave it away with 2 key turnovers and a lot of penalties. I thought we had a chance at A&M and we won. Where were you at with your laughing faces after that win? Don't say we don't have a chance against KU and MU. We have a very slim chance (probably about 10%), but there is a chance. Have you seen MU play the last two weeks? They have issues. OU was supposed to "skullf**ck" us back in 2003 also. Remember how that turned out?

My beef is that you come on here claiming you support the local teams, yet when KSU loses you are the first to pile on and make fun of them and their fans. So basically when you say you support KSU, you are lying. The next time you claim you pull for KSU, I'm going to call bullsh!t on you.

The Cat's are not as bad as most people think. They are right on the edge of really making things happen. Just need to get that little "extra" to turn it all around, they are right there, just have little breakdowns in focus or whatever that is not letting them be real consistent. They have an awesome offense and very good defensive players that are just right on the edge of pulling it all together.

They lost by one point yesterday at Colorado. Did you watch the game? I thought the defense looked really good, most of the time. Ian blocked a field goal and had 2 solo and 3 assisted tackles, they had good pressure on the QB. Brandon Harold, Tyson Hartman, Josh Moore, Ule Pomele all had good play. They just missed a few tackles that if made would have made things a different outcome.

Brooks Rossman, who hadn't missed a field goal all year, missed two last night. If he had made just one of those you would have had nothing to say again this week as K-State would have had another in the win column.

They are 4-3 and I still think they have 2 or 3 wins left before the end of the schedule.

I was happy with the D last night, I really think they are making strides. Josh Moore is a stud. I had forgotten that he was just a spohomore. The difference in the game was just some uncharacteristic offensive mistakes. The fumbles hurt and the missed field goals hurt. As much as I would love to see us beat MU or KU, I just think we really need the ISU and NU games to get to 6, as those are the most winnable.

This is EXACTLY what I am talking about...."The Cat's are not as bad as most people think." They are right on the edge...", "Just need a little extra...", "They have an awesome offense..."....blah blah blah freaking blah.

Excuses...and here is a fact about the "awesome" offense...it's #7 in the Big 12 in pass and rush. That's average....AWESOME is TT averaging 418 yards per game. K-states 264 per game is average.

..against an offensive ranked DEAD last in the B12 behind even Baylor and Iowa State...yeah good job!

as could be said for any team that loses a game..."if we just had done XYZ better we would have won. They couldn't make key tackles vs a very bad offense.

3 Wins? What would you like to bet on that. You name your price buddy and I'm all over that like white on rice....

Like I was saying this is an example of a "homer" post. It consists of excuse, excuse, more excuses, if we just could have, excuse, excuse, we'll win 2 or 3 more games.....right on.

All you seem to do lately is berate people, Binky, Pootsy, Texkan, jeezeweeze, KSU fans...the list is long. I am tired of it. It gets old. I didn't think it would happen but you have earned a spot on my ignore list.

I agree with Bubba. All the negativity just gets old. You do nothing but post negative things about KSU, about many of the posters on here whose opinions you don't agree with, and about anything having to do with democrats. There are a lot of opinions out there besides yours, and believe it or not, you're not always right. I've realized in my life that life is a lot more fun when you can be positive about things instead of just constantly negative.

Bubba and me aren't quitting on our team. As long as those players keep playing, then I'm going to be realistic about their chances, but optimistic that they can get the W. Where is your "expert" analysis of the Chiefs? Isn't that your team? Have you given up on them? Did you watch them today? Oh yeah I forgot, you can make an "expert" analysis of a team without even watching them. I know you are a realist and realize they aren't very good, but don't you want to be positive and think that they might win a few more games or have you just mailed in the season like a loser? I'm not even a Chiefs fan, more of a Chiefs follower, and even I'm optimistic that they might sneak up on a couple more teams this year. KU lost yesterday too, are their fans just supposed to give up now? I mean, it sounds like you are French, just wanting everyone to throw in the white flag. We don't have a chance, why even try.

BInky is negative and I return the favor. Do what you gotta do big daddy. Instead of making your point you put me on ignore. Nice....

KU lost a game vs a very tough team. They played OK but in reality I am not sure anyone really expected them to win. They need to find their running game.

As far as the Chiefs...yes I watched them and it was painful. Croyle can't stay healthy. I am wondering if they are going to use their first draft choice for a QB and start over or stay with Croyle. Croyle and Huard probably wouldn't be a 2nd string on most teams....maybe that's going a bit far but they aren't starters. The Chiefs have a lot of work to do. They have a couple of young players that are potential stars. Bowe has tons of potential if he had the right QB finding him on the fly. With a bit better of an O' line I believe LJ still has a few TD's left in him also. The Chiefs had a great draft last year and they will obviously have some decent picks this year. Hopefully they do well again and in 2 or 3 years are contending.

Bubba's been trying to make his point, but its like talking to a wall. Yes Binky is negative, but he doesn't make it personal against you. You make it personal against him though by insulting him and his country. Would you feel the way you do about him if he attacked Obama instead of McCain?

I think you are confusing thinking a team can win with making a prediction. When you make a prediction, you are saying the result is absolute. If I predict a win, it means I am saying we will win. 95% of what I've seen from myself, bubba, and others are "thinking" statements. I "think" we can beat Colorado. I "think" we can get 6 wins this year. Bubba didn't predict 2-3 more wins, he said he thinks we can get 2-3 more wins. I wouldn't be stupid enough to predict a win vs. KU or MU, but I think we have a slim chance.
