Patterson or Leavitt from S. Florida would be good for K-State.
Don't think Leavitt will come though.

Looks more like basketball scores than football. Do you think the offense's are that good or are the "d"'s that bad?

    I honestly do not know.

I think it is a little of both. Alot of the defense actually have a lot of freshman starting and some have new schemes with new coaches, like KU, NU and Texas. The talent is out there definitely and come next year or the following we could actually see the flip with the Big XII having very strong D's and mediocre offenses as many of the playmakers on offenses will be exchanged for younger less experienced players.

Leavitt's name came up when Snyder retired. He didn't seem too interested, as he is from Florida. Plus he went ahead and signed a big contract extension with S. Florida.

You might laugh at a couple of these, but my list is in the following order:
    1. Gary Patterson
    2. Lane Kiffin
    3. Tulsa head coach
    4. Venables
    5. D coordinator from Texas (Muschamp?) - he was D-ccordinator at Auburn last year

The offense's are all pretty dang good. Plus, this new "spread offense" is awfully hard to defend against.

As long as you have a former NFL Coach in there, why don't you take HERM EDWARDS!! Please!!! ;)

Sorry Herm Edwards, I don't think scoring 10 points a game will win many games in the Big 12. I really think though that Lane Kiffin would make one hell of a college football coach. He was an assistant at USC so he'd have some major California recruiting ties, plus I think he is a good coach despite what that senile lunatic Al Davis thinks.

No way, no how does Lane Kiffen takes the KSU job, I can almost guarantee that 100%. If anything he will be looked at by WSU or even Washington for the job and Washington will actually have the money to pull him in, otherwise some NFL team will more than likely hire him as an assistant for more money than KSU would pay him. KSU's best bet is to bring Gary Patterson home.
