ESPN - Sources: Chalmers, Arthur caught with marijuana at rookie camp - NBA

As you've probably heard by now, former KU stars Darrell Arthur and Mario Chalmers got busted with weed in their motel room while at the NBA's rookie orientation camp. Some reports say Michael Beasley was in the room with them, but that he wasn't hitting the chronic.

My thinking on this is who cares! I saw one time where 75% of the players in the NBA smoke weed. These two were just stupid for being caught, especially at rookie orientation where they are told not to do those things. I'm not saying that its okay to smoke weed, but aren't there a lot worse things they could be doing? And its not like weed is a steroid or performance enhancer, if anything, it will make them worse.

Who says KU and KSU are boring, when you have guys at KSU getting DUI's and guys at KU smoking the chronic.

Of course their are worse things they could be doing...but damned..they are in rookie training camp trying to make an impression...well..I guess they accomplished that feat....lol.
