KU Basketball

The "Chicken Hawks" play at Colorado tonite. Saturday at home against K-State. Following the thorough "ass kicking" that they gave Kentucky, let's see if they continue with the winning ways.

Likewise my Cats are at home against the Corncobs tonight. Hopefully they can win that one.

I am praying for the pain to end against the squawks this weekend.

The Cats needed to win a game, but I never would have thought that it would be KU. Looks like a long year for both programs!!

1-31, nice job KSU. They deserved to win, but I don't think it will play much on the rest of the season. KU will still make the tourney, KSU probably won't. KSU fan's laughter will be just as short as their football season.

Hehe Agnostic.

Spoken like a true KU fan. Lose to KSU in football = "Hey! let's talk about basketball" Lose in Basketball="Hey let's talk about football"

Lose to KSU in football and basketball= a very happy Gunnar!!

Hehe

and about KU..

it hurts to watch. the massive potential the team has is second only to how disappointing they often play. they play a minute and a half of the best basketball in the land (less duke) then play 10 minutes of mediocre basketball..repeat.

these last two losses have hurt a lot, especially considering how much better KU actually is than these two programs. even while young and inexperienced, they are considerably more talented.

if you notice he has them on the bubble. that essentially means KU has to win about every game the rest of the season except for the Texas/OU games..and they probably need to pick up one or two of those. the football team did it, i think the bball team can do it too. self needs to do a better job of getting the right guys on the court, and needs to figure out how to beat the zone. shouldnt be too hard with that many great shooters. they'll figure it out soon enough. it's going to be hard to keep a prestigous program like KU out of the tourney if they can achieve an 18-10 record or so. only time will tell.

Well, the Missouri game was exciting, but KU loses again. If they could have just hit a few of their free throws, it would have made a big difference. Given time, they will mature and come around, but until then it is up and down. I felt sorry for Moody last nite. Looks like the team needs to stay late and shoot free throws.
