I have some very old Star Wars card collection (like baseball cards) and a number 1 edition of Star Wars comic magazine.....does anyone know where I can get some estimates on these items, or where to sell them?????

I usually google and epay 'check' collectible items for price ranges and understand that finding the collector who's willing to pay top price is a matter of market positioning and luck.

1977 Star Wars #1 Marvel is worth anywhere from $10- $25 . depending on condition and naturally Mint would be the top side of those figures.

oh ya, the cards.

I saw a lot of 250 rare SW cards go for 50 bucks in the last month or so. Even the full sets do not run very much. Saw someone trying to sell a full set for 170 bucks, no takers and not many lookers. Mostly the stuff on ebay was in the 20 dollar range.

I know they buy comic books at the Antique store downtown. I think her husband is into them. That way you would not have to mess with shipping....just a thought.

That is almost a direct quote from yoda in one of the movies where yoda was teaching Luke to be a Jedi.
